Preparing for
finishing
After the sanding procedure is complete we
prep the floor for finishing. Due to our dustless
sanding little cleanup is required before finishing.
A higher quality finish is also achieved due to the
absence of airborne dust. This is also a good time
to inspect the floor one last time for any missed
nail holes or cracks that were missed.

Staining

Staining is the first step in any
finishing process if your looking for a desired
color. We put stain samples on the floor so the
customer can see the color on their floor and
against their woodwork and in their surroundings.
Stain is hand applied and wiped with rags over
the whole floor. Particular care is taken around
baseboards adjacent rooms where stain is applied. We
like to allow the stain to dry overnight. Its
significant to note that water drops, moisture, bare
hands and knees that come in contact with the bare
floor or stained.
